About Us

13th Press is the brainchild of Ontario-based artist Amrit Brar, who began independently publishing her work in 2016 with the Shitty Horoscopes zine series. In 2018 she illustrated and published The Marigold Tarot, and following its release established a small press company with her family in 2020.

13th Press is an independent, women and family-run publisher - we specialize in tarot decks, tarot accessories, textiles, altar decor, zines, books, patches, pins, and lifestyle products. We are dedicated to exploring themes of growth and decay, and continue to release new projects that explore this vision.

Our latest project, The Mirror Oracle, a companion deck to The Marigold Tarot launched in winter 2023.

All of our products (with the exception of some of our jewellery collaborations with Feyr) are exclusively designed and illustrated by Amrit Brar.
