About Us

13th Press is an independent, women- and family-run publisher based in Ontario, founded by artist Amrit Brar. What began in 2016 as a self-published zine practice evolved into a small press dedicated to esoteric publishing and art-driven goods.

Rooted in themes of growth, decay, transformation, and reflection, 13th Press creates tarot and oracle decks, ritual objects, textiles, books, and printed matter, each release expanding an ongoing body of work.

Notable projects include The Marigold Tarot, The Mirror Oracle, and Amrit’s illustrated zine The Red Kingdom (2025), an intimate exploration of motherhood and the postpartum experience.

All 13th Press products, aside from select jewellery collaborations with Feyr, are exclusively designed and illustrated by Amrit Brar.
